Join us as we take you on a journey of team_3R Beginning, and the formation.
It all began back in 1998
Mr. Mohamed bin Issa Al-Zadjali accompanied by a group of friends and a local guide from Al Sharqiyah region.
This was the launch of tourist activity of this kind in Sharqiyah, it was introduction to the desert dunes driving Sport.
The goal was to closely assess the area and getting to know her up close, from its topography, aesthetics, and Challenges, as well discover the stunning landscapes, to be p
Presented as tourist interface for nature lovers and Adventurers, especially off-road drivers.
These trips became known as
"Mohamed Issa desert safari" MEDS (later to become The GuideOman).
The success of MEDS Safaris resulted in increasing numbers of participants with inexperienced drivers. There for More difficulties, challenges and malfunctions, both for drivers and vehicles arisen.
Those challenges formed an idea of needing for a group of Volunteer participants to carry out all the rescue operation sand assistance.
The group was formed and named "MEDS rescue team" wich Known as a team 3R.
2008
A company was established, named The Guide Oman, instead of (MIDS) and also the name of (MIDS) rescue team was Changed to Guide Oman rescue team, blue shirt was Introduced for team and the company staff.
2014
The office re branded, and launched a new logo,
A green jacket was dedicated to the employees of the office.
On this occasion the name of the Guide Oman Rescue Team Was changed to team_3r, where the 3 versions of the letter R,reflects their tasks Rescue, Recovery, Relief.
A black shirt was chosen team name"3R"featured in yellow on the right front&Guide Oman logo on the back
2016
Team_3R changed the design of their team name, printing the number 3 in yellow & the letter R in red. As well changing the uniform to a yellow vest with team name on the left of The front, and thand the Guide Oman logo on the back.
2019
The team_3R improved the vest by adding the country flag, the name of the member, and member symbol on the right Front the of the vest and red jacket was created for the Team_3r medical member.
To gain more experience team_3R joined The Omani 4X4 Teams club in 2019.Guide Oman &team_3R are still Developing & keeping pace with the changes in this field we look forward to show casing our team again.
